Glenn Danzig is a fucking dick - as I can speak from first hand experience. Back in '94 , I won tickets and VIP passes (from local radio station) to go on the Danzig tour bus afterwards of a sold-out Marilyn Manson/Danzig show. Me and my older brother went and had a total blast being up front as Marilyn Manson put on an awesome show as the opening act. We should have left right after his performance to try and meet him, but was told that the passes were for Danzig only. His show was fucking boring compared to Manson's - as his only good song was "Mother" at the time. When it came time to step inside and meet Danzig - it shocked us to find out what a short-ass fucking runt he is, thinking he was taller (as he looked on stage). We'll, the cocky bastard turned out to have a complete asshole attitude and gave us both a "dainty-ass" handshake (unlike a real tough guy). We got autographed LP Flats and only got to spend a few minutes before we got shuffled out as there were only 8 other people waiting to meet him. Perhaps he didn't like my wearing a Misfits t-shirt and he not being part of that band anymore. I met Jerry Only twice a few years later as he was the complete opposite and a super friendly person to talk to each time. He agreed to Glenn Danzig being a dick and also not part of The Misfits due alot to the fact of his cocky ass attitude. And having that fucking cocky dickheaded disposition is what led to his well deserved reposition - on the fucking floor. when i was listening to Misfits/Samhain/Danzig in the late 80's, early 90's, there was a rumor that he once killed a man with one punch in self defense...

i dont buy that story after watching that clip!!


has anyone else heard that urban myth??

I never liked Danzig much. one or two songs, maybe, but the Misfits and Samhain were always much better to me.

hilarious. i was twelve at the time, of course i believed it!

the story goes that he was bumrushed on stage once and knocked the dudes cartilage into his brain with one punch to the nose...

thanks for squashing a 15 year old rumor, now i have to track down the friend that told me...
