im very jealous of you. though my sister would be more jealous. she has a picture of carl on her wall. though she also has a pic of pete as well.

I booked two tickets for tomorrow evening and I just received confirmation.
I really hope to find somebody that wants to come with me!!

ps: on wed I've five classes from 9am till 6pm!!

I'm going to see the Hellacopters tonight, with the Doits and Randy supporting. Then it's White Stripes in two weeks and BRMC in four weeks, twice (Stockholm and Gothenburg). I'm totally broke now so can't afford that many gigs now, but those are essential for my survival.

brmc are coming to perform in a venue close to my place (NewAge Club-Treviso), but didnt decide yet if go or not...

There's no-one from the BRMC-forum clicked for that gig (there's a possibility to check in which gigs you're going to see so people can meet each other, we seem to be a well-tavelling bunch) even tho there's a couple of die-hards in Italy as well.
Their new album Howl is completely different from their earlier stuff, more rootsy, and live they sound even greater (saw them twice in London 7 weeks ago). I'm so looking forward to those gigs!

(and I had to give the Hellacopters a miss tonight :( I'm so totally broke and depressed right now)

I am hopefully going to see Mixmaster Mike this Saturday. According to his website, he's playing in Champaign, IL...but I can't get any confirmation.

Two of my favorite shows this year. (Real men see S-K!!!)

I have NIN with QOTSA tomorrow and Richard Thompson the next night. Then Lily Tomlin Saturday.

We have loads of good music here in October and early November before the horrid holiday music takes over most of the good venues.

QOTSA are always awesome...in fact...right now I'm wearing the Australian tour T-shirt in all its awesomeness. BTW I not only like Sleater-Kinney, but also Le Tigre and Bikini Kill... :D

Well Oasis and the hives are in the next month or so. Then Meredith music festival has Wolfmother, You Am I and the Avalanches, along with a few international acts such as the kills, okkervil river etc...then bdo has the rest.

I saw Carl Barat few days ago..
the audience (being optimistic I think we were 300-500 people) killed my back..
was a nightmare the day after in the class!!

but I liked it. think Dirty Pretty Things are better then the Libertines. and they're two different bands!!
I got the setlist!!
is anyone interested?
