This sounds good, its going on my music player now. Good work men. Do people here realise that Zap is 12/13 years old. Thats talent.

and good line about the r&b hooks hood, hate those!

i dont mean to shit on the kid. but, i didnt hear anything impressive as in the beat direction. it was like simple 'pause edits'. there wasnt any beat matching, beat juggling or anything of the sort going on. there was no "mash up" at all there. a mash up is 2 or more songs combined. not let a beat play, wait for the beat to stop, then drop another beat in. it was just the instrumental of some classic RUN-DMC records and cj rapping over them.

all in all, it was ok. but not something i'd ever want to hear again. cj dropped some good verses... but i rather hear him rhyme over some original beats... or maybe use those records again with some actual dj'ing going on. some scratching and whatnot... not just let a track play, then bring up another one.

i'm the one who called it a 'mash up'......not Zap.......so if this is not the true definition of 'mash up', then it's my bad....

Zap's putting his original beat to my other acapella......i'll post it when i get it....

word. i'm not trying to hate... just giving my 2 cents. props to you for putting it out there. or taking the time to work on something creative. i was just giving my advice as someone that dj's, makes beats, and loves hip-hop.

yeah, i admit it, this was a half assed attempt. i'm workin on Recipe now, all original beats, i took some kicks and hats from some cut up beats but its still original, not like i actually used the beat.
