The Channel U website is currently running the following story:
"Rapper turned premier businessman, Jay-Z is reportedly in talks to buy a stake of Arsenal football team.
"Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter is rumoured to have been involved with Arsenal bigwigs to negotiate a deal which would make Jay-Z a major share-holder in the team.
"The 'Gunners' - who have won five English league titles and two F.A. Cups - are currently managed by Frenchman Arsène Wenger, and it is believed that they are one of Europe's most exciting attacking teams.
"If the deal is finalised, Jay-Z stands to add yet another successful business venture to already impressive CV.
"Jay-Z is, at the moment, developing his own S. Carter high-end clothing line, and in the spring he introduced a collaboration with Swiss luxury-watch maker Audemars Piguet.
"In addition, after buying out co-founder Damon Dash for $25million, Jay-Z's Rocawear clothing brand is generating around $400 million a year in sales.
"Although Jay-Z has kept his business acomplishments on the downlow, he was recently featured on the cover of the well-respected financial business magazine, 'Fortune'."
