that seems to be the case more often than not. during the weekends and evenings it slows down considerably.

me, i'm here all the time, because i'm at college, and this is what i do instead of studying. i figure if i'm not playing video games, i'm being productive, and i'm being pretty good about laying off the games, but yet, i'm not being much more productive. i don't understand it

what i want to ask you work posters though, is whether or not you try to hide it? do your bosses not care, or do they just not notice? i used to post at work, but i had to be discreet about it. i'd only do it between shit to do, i never let it get in the way of me actually working, but i had to do it real secret-like, or i'd get in trouble. or at least i assumed i would. nobody ever really caught me. at least they never told me if they did. there was this one time where they sent out a mass email (it's a small company, about 20-30 people maybe) saying not to use the internet during work hours, we're supposed to be putting in an honest 40 hours a week and that's the end of that, PS, this isn't addressed to anyone in particular (although it obviously had to be, even if it wasn't me). so that scared me straight i guess.
