Try not to read too much into it. Sometimes people really do need just a bit of time to sort themselves out. One thing is for sure, if someone has told you they need some time and space, and you try to cling to them desperately, you will only push them further away.

When I say things like that, it's to think about things seriously and it probably does mean that the end is near.

But I've seen other people say that and mean just what they say (they're just getting alone time). When they say that, the end isn't even on the radar for them.

In my thinking, one of the hardest things about relationships is learning/knowing when to apply your own filter to the things that other people say and do.

I have one friend who says, "Watch what I do, not what I say or how I say it." and another who says the complete opposite. Makes me a little wonky in the head, especially if I see them both on the same day. :D

She's the type to say shit straight up...so if she wanted to end it, she'd say it. So ye...I'm pretty sure she just thought she needed time to herself...so I said fair enough I understand I'll still be here when u wana talk again.. but then she said naw I can't not talk to u, it'll eat me up inside...
