It's that time of the year for us. Time to burn the fuck out of eyelids and bumholes on a searing hot steel plate. :D
First up, I'm gonna wheel the shit out of my shed. The rumbling on our back yard leads me to do the 'bumbumbumbumbum ................................. na...............................ner ........................nana!' sounds from 2001.
Then I'm gonna take off the plates and grills, scrub the inside with a rough brush, and soak the fatty flame covers, all the while catching drool in my grown man's bib.
Next up, I'll lovingly reassemble My darling Mergatreud, showing her how to live once more. Gently, like an angels' whisper.
Then, I'm gonna crack open two beers(two beers!), that's right two beers(two beers!)! Suppin on those bad boys, I'm gonna connect the gas bottle, turn the dial, and feel the heat.
Once missus brings out the feast for me to cook (and once I've slapped her battam ;) ), it's time to B to the B to the muthafuckin Q!
haha winter!

Depends. If you have one more drink, you'll want a smoke so bad you'll be mad at yourself for not going in the first place. So I say, go and buy some. Then wait until you finish that next drink, and bask in the genius of my plan.
Australian Spring opens the door for Australian Summer, and Australian Summer is fuckin punk rock.

mmmmmmmmm barbeque.....
i can sniff out a sausage sizzle from within a 10 Km radius. i have a kickass bbq in my backyard that i use 4-5 times a week, even thru winter. i looove it. no dishes or pans to scrub afterwards!! its the main reason i love summer. theres nothing quite like swilling a coopers pale ale and staring at meat cooking while having a yarn with a mate.
im hungry now.

Man... we've had 3 BBQ's at uni this week. All top quality, like not a huge line or anything, at least 2 snags for everyone and at least 3 beers/cruisers. And not just some shitty keg, we actually had boags and carlton draught.
By the way Kid P...carlton black just made its way to victoria, we now have it in stock at the shop :D
Man I love summer. I wanna go to Byron bay but its too late to book a house...which was the plan.

Cause I made such a fuss about it. Guinness is great until you try Coopers Stout. Carlton Black is a very Mocha type of beer compared to say, Tooheys Old.
I'm cooking quarter pounders tonight. We got mad potato salad, holmes.

Sometimes I'll just cook the burgers up and have em with cheese and onions, like a real Quarter Pounder. None of this salad bally-hoo.

Yeah true...I dont mind a grilled tomato on top sometimes...but usually I reserve those for BBQ bacon and eggs for breakfast. That is the greatest thing ever.

Now I can drink cascades in my pool all arvo and then climb out and cook shit on the barbie.

Outside of camping, I think I've done BBQs maybe 6 times in my life. And each of those 6 times was on a disposable grill that holds maybe two burgers and two hot dogs.
Contrast that against the ...affairs that some of my friends have with their BBQ grills--enormous gassy things that take up half the terrace. I don't get the BBQ experience. Maybe it's just an exciting thing to do because it means that you're outdoors, with friends, and eating food that you like to eat. I don't really need that big grill to get there.

"Gourmet Chevups skinless sausages, steeped in exotic history, evolved originally from the Middle East centuries ago. Cevapcici , where the name derives from, was manufactured using mild black peppers and spices, blends of beef, pork and lamb, rolled by hand and cooked on an open wood fire"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cevapcici
mmm i remember eating them as a kid, when they were still called cevapcicis and not the easier to say chevups and you couldn't get them at the supermarket.
i'm not much of a fan of regular sausages. i only eat them in a roll when i'm really drunk.
i love bbq's. my life has seriously been lacking in bbq's. contrary to stereotypes, my guy friends are bad at bbqing and i always take over. i'm not eating anything half raw boys!!
potato salad rules.
i can't wait until the aussie day bbq/triple j's hottest 100/fireworks trifecta
best day ever.

Everything tastes better with a BBQ, especially one thats been used a few days in a row because even if you clean it really well, the taste of all the meats before still acts as a sort of marinade that just makes it taste so awesome.

So like two reunited lovers, the flames between us burn brightly, once again.
I bought her a gift today. A new gas bottle. Her favourite. She doesn't think I've been listening, but I always pick up her little hints.

at this backpackers hostel i was staying at in melbourne, they did "neighbours" tours, where you went to ramsey st and met the stars.
i don't know where summer bay or yabby creek are. i'm guessing on the coast of NSW, near sydney?

i find it funny how the numbers of the houses in ramsay st are like no 25, no 32 etc. yet theres only 8 houses in the street. whats the dealio? i think we are being conned.
summer bay is actually palm beach in NSW. im pretty sure yabby creek doesnt exist, just like ansons corner. theres an eden hills in adelaide, tho.
p.s. even though jenae has a bogan mother, i'd give her the mongrel. skye too. oh yeah and carmella. not izzy tho. she's a ho.

yeah i know, but if u see an aerial view of the street, like it used to in the closing credits, there is actually only 8 houses in the street. and your right, it sure aint a street. definitely a court.

I'm applying for work on the Blackslund at the moment. My Girl will probably get a job at either the diner or the school. Neither of them require much experience from what we understand.
We were thinking about chilling at Irene's for a bit, but with Hyde there, I wouldn't want to overhear croaky old Reney getting some Peney.
We're looking at the caravan park, it pays the bills, and Sally won't be able to afford it once Flynn croaks. Some of you guys should come and stay for a while. Zorra could be the troubled teen with a heart of gold, Gareth could be the nefarious Year 12 bully.
Anyways, the offer's there. (y)
