How 'bout a Beastie channel or show on Sirius?

I got Sirius a few months ago and it rocks. I was thinking how so many semi-famous and famous-people are getting shows and channels. I mean...Tony Hawk, Bam Margera, Lance Armstrong, and even Marky Ramone have radio shows. So why not the Beastie Boys?? They wouldn't have to be regulars on it but it could have a ton of stuff related to them or that their fans would like.

The studios are right in the city and wow...I personally think it'd rock. I think I'm going to email someone at beastieboys.com about this!

I don't think a Beastie Channel would go for that long. They could go for maybe a month, but after that it would all be repeats.

I think it was primarily GR artists. I remember they also played some Beastie b-sides and remixes.

I didn't mean only bboy stuff. Lots of talk by old school and new school artists and just about anyone. Lots of music other than the beastie's like stuff they personally think is good.

Theres a ton you could do with it.

... like they could do shows and play tracks they like
... new stuff they like
... old stuff they like
... play songs they've sampled
...have guests like the dust bros to talk about paul's boutique
...play live shows
...do a remix show
...do a show about side projects
...do a show to interview old school rappers
...do a show about tibet
...do a show about punk
... dedicate a show to DJs

... have guests and talk about music in general. etc etc

i think the possibilities are endless and that they'd be REALLY good for this. they don't all have to host at the same time. could be a great show
