And what are the traditional things you are supposed to do on such a special day??

I need to establish my own, but seriously, do you have one?? How is it? I'm very interested in that.:D

my festivus isnt on a particular date, but i do celebrate it on the first day of each new season, when that season officially kicks in. example if the first day of winter say is december 1 (dunno if it is but w/e) i will celebrate it NOT on that day but on the day that it snows. ya get me?

The drink of choice for that day depends on what season it is...

winter- hot chocolate/hot apple cider
spring- pop
summer- lemonade/iced tea
fall- tea

and i watch movies.

but the celebration has to be on a weekend, so it can get complicated when to officially celebrate. and of course i hang around a lamp that looks like a festivus pole. (y) :p

you mean like christmas?

christmas eve is my favorite. my family gets together and we have a 7 piece meatless dinner. items include potato and saurkraut pirogies, saukraut, mushrooms, cottage cheese, prunes, and usually some kind of fish, or other substitute. i eat until i explode
