Hello Folks! Listen, before you starting to diss Limp Bizkit plese read the thread entirely. I'll not talk about their albums and about them. I know I lotta people fucking hate'em. My point here is to know what you guys think about this specifically album. Their debut "3 Dollar Bill Y'all" album... You know, I was looking for my Public Enemy's "Fear of a Black Planet" and finished finding this LB album that I used to like. Well, actually I still like this album. I've listened to it again and realized that LB could have been (or dont.....who knows) a respectful band if they had followed 3DBY steps. Maybe you also dont like this album and still hate them. But for me 3Dollar Bill is worth checking. What'cha think? Am I saying bullshit here?? (Probably...... but I just wanted to know what you BBoys fans think about it).

I dont care what anyone says.. But there was a time where Fred Durst was the man. Just about everyone under 18 LOVED Limp Bizkit. Remember when dre, snoop, and other rappers would give Limp Bizkit props and show up in thier videos and vice versa..Even the media was on their dick for a while.

But it didnt take long before everyone matured and realized what a douche-bag Fred Durst is.

Hmm...fuck Limp Bizkit, Turd is kind of right.

Heiress was right as well, SO does own, or rather it did back in the day. I don't even remember what was on 3dby, oher than that cover of Faith I think, but I don't care to remember.

Thankfully those days are behind us. Fred Durst has become the butt of a lot of jokes, and Wes Borland was that band until he quit or something. DJ Lethal though.....

i listened to 2 albums the most my senior year of high school (99-2000)...the beasties anthology collection and limp bizkits significant other...My fav song off the album is re-arranged...seems to be nobody elses..but i love that track!

Alot of the tracks on significant other are really great for the first 15-25 seconds, great bass great guitar, drums everything, some great vocals. Mostly due to Wes.

We all see where limp is now after Wes left.

Im not to fond of Fred Durst myself except for the re-arranged track and thats a really really mellow fred so it isnt fred in my opinion haha.

Whoever was the mastermind behind the beginning 15-25 seconds of most all the songs on Significant Other in my mind is a genious.

ps. I HATE n2 together now!...method man can suck my balls

3DBY was definately a good album when i like it when i was 14, but it has been so long since i've listened to it, not because i dont like the album, just because i have so many cd's i haven't gotten around to listening to it again. as far as the last time i listen to it i thought it was a good cross over album. no RATM self titled but good in it's own right.

btw, am i the only one he who's not surprised rancid hasn't mentioned the fact that some chick died in the 2001 BDO Limp Bizkit mosh pit yet which could've possibly led to their demise in popularity? :confused: and :p

Thats what I think too. Even thinking LB sucks Im not so ignorant in saying this album also sucks. It is different from their posterior albums.

the first album they made was raw, it was music.

everything after that they were trying to manufature a product to sell to consumers. this is what 50 cent does. there is a difference.
