Well, its just a very well rounded movie. It won't knock your socks off but it will make you laugh, is very quotable, and shot nicely.

hmm, the accent doesn't really come across in text....


I thought the movie was okay but I was disappointed that it didn't go back in time like the book did. the back in time parts were my favorite, the travelling bits with jonathan were my least favorite. in fact, I hated those parts. I just kept picturing the author looking things up in a thesaurus and giggling.
