When they arrest the Al Qaeda manicurist, dermatologist and car-park attendant, then I will sleep safely in my bed. Not until.

My French teacher last semester was telling us about the Ivory Coast, and how different terminology comes into play. He said that a barber was arrested by Ivory Coast soliders, because he looked like the suspect who had been decapitating several soldiers the day before. He was taken into custody, they asked him his name, and when they asked him what he did for a living he said "Cutting heads," because they don't say "Cutting hair" in his language. They beat him unmercifully, but he managed to escape. The soldiers' commander came in later, and when he was informed of who they caught and what they had done, he informed them that he definitely was NOT the man who they had been looking for.
The soldiers then saw the man later that week, and they screamed out to him in English "Come here!" since they wanted to explain what had happened, but the man was primarily French speaking so he heard "Comme hier!" which in French means "As yesterday." He then ran like hell, because he thought he was going to get another beating.
Misundrstandings are hilarious!

Hey, that's okay because we've caught 70% of the terrorists we were going after in the first place, but still missing the one that's responsible for the deaths of 3,000 people and in return have created countless NEW terrorists.
They sure are running scared from President Bush these days.
