i actually saw the sun. yes the motherfuckn' sun today. there's towns around here that actaully had to be closed down becuase of this bullshit.

I live less than a mile from the beach and my whole town was flooded. The fire department had to go around and pump out niggas basements and shit.

the conneticut river runs right through my city. luckily it hasn't cuased any problems. all the flooding around here happened in all the small towns. a bunch of people at work had water seeping in from over the foundations of there basements becuase the water had built up to high in their yards.

in another town a railroad route had literally been turned into a fuckn' small river ripping the shit out of all that shit around it. and there's been so much water that it's tearing all the asphalt off the roads where the water can't drain.

im just glad this didn't happen a month and a half from now. it would be all snow. just imagine all that fuckn' snow.

it's been raining all week. i literally haven't been outside since wednesday (i had class on thurs and fri but i skipped them because it was raining so damn much). however, the sun did come out today, which was polite, i thought.

yo i saw the sun yesterday. and today, it's bright, beautiful, and there's this fantastic breeze.

but the rain.. the bitchy rain. i mean, im lucky, in LI, my house is on a hill (all the water runs down). And my building here probably didnt flood much. it looks alright. but my boyfriend's house started to to get leaks like.. last sunday. which means it was all pretty much hell by thursday.

thank freakin' god it stopped.
