Coming out of the commercial 3 seconds ago on the Sox/Angels game they played Ch-Check it Out.

Then commentator actually said, "Beastie Boys for ya...and the starters for the White Sox have been a beast for these Angels" hahaha

Yeah, that was ill. But the next commercial break they played Mr Rogers Neighborhood, now that was odd.

Ya, they played Jimmy James as they showing the key plays of the game on FOX at the end of game 1 or 3 i believe or something.

baseball and Beastie Boys just seem to go together well...
there have been many times where the network will play a clip, for instance whenever the Mets and Yankees play, they use "Open Letter" and there was even a thread where a poster e-mailed the Mariners organization about a trio of players, and soon they were cranking "Triple trouble" out of the PA system...

and SportsCenter always drops references from old school to today..."thats it thats all there is..." was used recently
