Every now and then I've busted my son wandering around the house singing 'Hallelujah, Hallelujah'. We'd been thinking that maybe hes taking scripture at school a bit to seriously. He'd been completely denying knowing the song at all let alone singing it.

Imagine our surprise today, then, when instead of singing what we thought was a hymn we hear 'its raining men, hallelujah, its raining men' come floating through the loungeroom windows while he was out on the verandah riding his skateboard.

I nearly wet my dacks laughing, I couldn't believe it. It's still cracking me up now.

Ha, that reminds me of this time mr.peachy & I were at a cafe in Paris and that song came on, and this little boy at the next table got all excited and started singing it and dancing in his seat. As they were, you know, French and all, I don't know how much the kid actually understood and anyway he was only about 6, so it's not like they know. They just think it's a funny image, men falling out of the sky, ha ha. With a catchy tune and a good beat. Like 'YMCA'.

Kid's got decent taste in music. You can't fake the funk on that one.

Yeah, Riley's six. he has no idea what he's singing about. It was just funny as fuck when after a couple of weeks of wondering how does he know the church song we found out the truth of the matter. I can't stop laughiong when I think of it.

Yeah, call it the gay anthem and whatnot, but for it's genre, that song is pretty kick ass.
