Madonna says she's the disciplinarian with 9-year-old Lourdes and 5-year-old Rocco. The former material girl told Newsweek that she doesn't let her children watch TV or look at magazines. She says milk and ice cream are also off limits. "When daddy gets home, they get chocalate," Madonna said. "I'm the disciplinarian." She's also strict about laundry duties: If Lourdes leaves dirty clothes on the floor, "we take all of her clothes and put them in a bag, and she has to earn all of her clothes back by being tidy," Madonna said. "She wears the same outfit everyday to school until she learns her lesson."


Damn ! I've never really thought anything negative about Madonna until reading the above newspaper article today...and to even think that children of celebrities are all obviously pampered and have it made - APPARENTLY NOT !

I think it's absolutely revolting that she let MTV have all kinds of access to film her kids doing private things. Anything to sell the new CD I guess.

She won't let her kids watch t.v.... because she didn't get to watch t.v.
She also lets her 9 year old daughter have a stylist, and only wear huge labels such as; gucci, Dior, Louis vouton... Etc. I think it's ridiculous personally

p.s. i think its funny that her daughter has to wear dirty clothes as a punishment.
i got a spanking. with a belt. and that worked for me.

and i had dirty clothes, because i was clumsy then too.

The woman has a borderline/bipolar/histrionic personality.

I like the way she raises her kids. It's different. I wish Madonna would adopt me.
