There is a possibility that you're trying to eat it the wrong way

its the size of a cookie, flat, looks like a waffle and has carmel in the middle. You are suppose to put it over your coffee/tea cup for a few minutes to heat it up so the carmel is nice and warm.

Or alternatively, you can not do that and just eat it.

I only know one place in the UK that sells them, but they're really expensive. I buy mine in Holland (y)

You can get them in most health food stores that sell organic stuff. There's a brand, DeSomethingorotherIcan'trememberrightnow, that most of them carry. If you are in/near London, you can definitely get them at Planet Organic or Fresh & Wild.

And of course, at Starbucks. (Not that good organic brand tho, but their ones are OK.)

Erm, not that I buy them much, or anything..... :o

Oh yeah, I forgot that Starbucks do them....theirs aren't that nice though from what I remember. I bought my last batch in a Dutch bakery......there is nothing like a freshly made Stroopwafel.

*runs to kitchen to gorge on lovely Dutch baked goods*

I have a box of Daelmans in front of me with some chick laughing at someone off camera in a bad outfit but with a fist full of stroop.

y'all need to go to the albert cuyp when you're in amsterdam. the best and freshbaked stroopwafels are there... my parents always just buy it in the supermarkter tho.

ever heard of stroopkoek.. it's a bit the same only not with wafels but with cookies.. i might even like it more than stroopwafels :)
