Bull Shannon
That was an excellent 80's show.
yeah, that show was deadly.
Night Court and then Cheers starting at 7:00 on WDCA. That was the shit.
We used to play football in this guys backyard everyday, but he would make us all leave at 7:00 so he could watch Night Court without distractions. We could start again at 7:30 but the flow was always gone by then.

It was a good solid cast, no weak links really, and had consistently good writing. Haven't seen it in ages myself, but shows like that, where everything really clicks, are fairly rare. Frasier is a more recent example; going back to something earlier, WKRP in Cincinnati had a similar kind of vibe to it. Safe enough sitcoms for family viewing, but all three of these had a definite 'adult' edge to them. (Frasier more than the others maybe, but you take my meaning.)
Fraiser and Full House are TVs best two sedatives.

Full House is far too nerve-gratingly annoying to be a sedative. In fact, it's much more like a - a - I dunno, whatever it is you call a drug that's designed to induce violent psychosis.
