You have to download dc++ client, here's the 0.674 version:

file>settings>personal information write your nick
file>settings>downloads choose the folder for your downloads
file>settings>sharing write '10' in upload slots


then go to file>quick connect and write the address

jtcann.serveftp.com:1090

Also, in connection settings, click the passive box to allow you to connect to other users so you can download their files.

k i downloaded it but it was different from what you said :confused:
i clicked download - North america (even though im not from there.. it didnt have canada) and just kept clicking next.. it didnt ask for any slots but i did do the folder thing.. woah this is confusing lol. is HUB spouse to automaticaly open when your finished your download cause it didnt for me?

Dont get confused by the hub, once ya connected ya learn pretty easy (y) So yeah dont give up on it, like I used to and some people still do.

Go to "File" then "Settings" then go down to "Sharing" then in the two boxes there will probably be zero's. Put in each box the number 3 then try again an see what happens. (y)

i've been here for a year & have avoided the Hub because of the bad stories i've heard about it, but now i have downloaded DC++ when i try to quick connect i enter the address but i get this

*** A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
