i reckon she's suspect. not a suspect but just sus in general.

I was gonna do a thread on this. Yeah, it does look suspect and all accounts and I can see how being emotional can change stories or you can say one and say something different each time beleive what you are saying but it being taken out of context and when so many people are asking you, it could mess you up a bit. I know it would me if I went through such an aledged ordeal
the difference between your comment and mine tzar is that i was being sarcastic.
yeah....
i reckon she is. tissue uleh?

Umm, do I need to point out that she is not the one on trial?
Personally, I find her quite credible. I don't really understand why there seem to be so many people who want her to be the 'guilty' one.

Goodness, I thought you were gone. (n)
The lady did something wrong, whether or not it involved paying somebody to off her other half remains to be seen.
The whole thing played out in 2001 in a very sympathetic manner via the Aus. Media. Then I went to the U.K and the inference was that she had shady tendencies, and was more than likely after the (proven) Life Insurance policy Falconio had taken out.
I think she's trouble, but I'd expect she'll get away with it in any case.

If you feel there is some kind of 'proof' against her, why has she not been charged with anything then? As I said, she's not the defendant, is she?
And how do you explain the DNA evidence linking Murdoch to the crime, and the statement he made about "the perfect place to hide a body"?

For some reason this reminded me of the Jaden Leski case. Anyone remember that ? That dude with the fezzy ass Mullet from Moe hahaha. That case had pig's heads, baby sitting etc. I just remember that being on the new every night for like a year.

Listen, I'm not claiming anything beyond what I think. Stop swimming around looking for non-pregnant people to argue with. You should be thinking about your pelvic floor.

You worry about your Kegels and I'll worry about mine, pal :p
I just don't get why people don't find her credible as a witness at best, and why people think she's guilty at worst. Anybody I've talked to about it just says something like "I just have a feeling".

Hey there Sarah :)
I think that the Murdoch guy definitely had something to do with it, but Joanne Lees doesn't appear to be a credible witness. Today the paper reported that she has been contradicting herself in the trial. For instance yesterday she said that she had been hit on the head during her abduction. However, the doctor who treated her after her abduction testified that she had not been hit on the head, and furthermore, that she had specifically said that she had not been hit on the head or anything like that in her police report. I know that piece of info doesnt have that much relevance to the case against Murdoch, but if she can't even get her story straight...whether it be because of nerves or whatever, people are always gonna suspect the worst.

Greg Domasewicz (spelling?). Baby Jaidyn's mum used to live around the corner from me in Churchill when I was going to Uni there. There was always ugly bikies and skanky bogan women there yelling and fighting each other and shit.
Back on topic: that murdoch guy is going to gaol whether he's guilty (which he probably is) or not. There is something untrustworthy about Joanna Lees, though.

a lot of people see joanne lees as lying or untrustworthy because she never seemed visibly upset about what happened. she was very emotionless, and stone-faced.

Thats true. But then again quite a few of people who look visably upset turn out to be the people who committed the crime. One example was that guy who went on tv appealing for help to find his wifes murderer, and he was in tears and everything, and a few months later it turns out he did it.

My problem with it lies in the fact that in such a vast crime scene, the potential for mis-representation of evidence or testimony is huge.
I guess without four walls, or an urban surrounding jam packed with humanity my senses just point to anything being possible.

joanne lees: i felt that maybe she really wants someone to be guilty of it so she can move on. i never mistrusted her. i'm not sure the guy is guilty, but what do i know.
slightly related note: murdoch is dodgy as. my dad was working up north with some aborigines and he was known to them, at a football game in fitzroy crossing he took out his gun and just started shooting it. none of them trust him, he's got quite a rep.
