I want more myspace friends too..

I'm pretty content with my own number of friends. When I was new, I was desperate to get lots of friends and added almost anyone remotely interesting.

Once I reached the 100s, I was like: "Ok, I have enough" and then just made sure to have the list relevant (un-responsive friends get the boot, bands who are lame get deleted, etc.).

Most of my "friends" are bands. Usually they're quite good at sending news, it's easier than being on everyone's mailing list.
I just deleted one friend cause I didn't recognise it and wondered how the hell it had ended up there anyway. It turned out that Red Hot Chili Peppers had changed their profile as a tribute to one of their fans band's site cause the singer had died of heroin resently.
Also I advice not to become friends with Brian Jonestown Massacre: Anton Newcombe is totally nuts, he sends several bulletins a day (he must be online constantly, even their yahoo-group is extremely active, I'm only on it because there's sometimes news about BRMC gigs, as Pete used to play in BJM), more than half of my 187 bulletins at the moment are from him, and they're deleted after two weeks.
