I stumbled into it by accident after having lunch with my mom. It was a lot like Spinal Tap. More staff than "fans" at the store.

I think they've appeared in a video with Dave Grohl or something. Some of them are currently on "tour," but I have no idea what that entails, other than sitting around in a store talking about the semi-famous people they've met.

No such thing as the unattainable? Man you should give me a few hints because I know plenty of girls that would classify themselves as waaaaaaaay outta just about every guy's league. You are an idealist toucan, but the fact remains that this is a material world and some girls are just physically unattainable for most guys. Most of these girls would never go out with an average looking guy, even if they had all the same interests.

I first heard of them when they were on an episode of HBO's Real Sex. They were presented as a kind of just regular gals having sexy fun collective, not Barbie dolls, no boob jobs, etc. Their wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_Girls) listing indicates that what I saw was largely bullshit. It's owned by men.

When I came in, there was no one at their table and they were blocking my usual magazines. They greeted me pleasantly and I couldn't figure out why a bunch of girls were sitting in my magazines, but you never know what you're going to find at that store. When I figured out who they were, I felt bad that I wasn't there to see them, but later some female fans came in and they nicely posed for photos. It can't be a glamourous tour if they're in Minneapolis in the middle of a cold Sunday afternoon. :p

some of my friends, male and female, are right into the suicide girls scene. they have bought the dvd, are on the forum, go to meetups, etc. i dont think any of them have submitted pics or anything, they just like the girls.

rancid_beasties... i think part of the attraction is they are "normal" girls, but funky ones, who photograph well, and have i don't know... a certain quality to them. plenty of porn has not normal women, but does that make them attractive? i don't find oversized boobs and blonde hair attractive, i'd prefer to watch porn with a cute, normal, attainable girl anyday.
