Yeah get it out, its worth it. Its pretty funny. Its like 5 people going for the Australian Of The Year Award. And the main actor "Chris Lilley" is playing these 5 people. Its pretty funny. Theres 6 episodes and they each go for half an hour.

Are you kidding me? You think Stealing Harvard was ok, but Orgasmo was just poor?
Stealing Harvard has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen (close to Joe vs. the Volcano). I laughed oh, about 0 times. I thought it would be decent since tre flip Jason Lee was in it, but it was garbage. Worse than garbage. It was garbage that was full of baby diapers, rotting meat, and had been pissed on by someone that ate asparagus.
Orgasmo on the other hand was just hilarious. Full of one liners that will be quoted forever. Sure some of the acting was questionable but the comedic content did more than make up for that. How can you front on T-Rex, Stunt Cocks, DVDA, Dave, G-Fresh, and the soundtrack?
But you know...your entitled to your opinion even though its wrong *insert non homo just kidding smiley here*.

I bought 3 pornos and Platoon the other night. I had never seen it~Platoon that is. Great morality play/movie~When Sheen killed the man that couldn't be killed it made me think that he'd become what he hated. I never knew Stone was a vet or that he wrote Midnight Express. Talk Radio was one of his most underrated movies of all time.
But the greatest DVD movie I own and watch regularly is "To Live in Die in LA"
Rick Masters is my mentor....And the commentary is brilliant, it goes into how every character in the movie is a counterfeit in some form or fashion. Best car chase in movie cinema and the leading character gets shot in the face towards the end~that takes balls. Most of the movie was shot on the fly. Case and point: when they steal the brief case from the chinaman and Chance bashes it open against the underpass til it opens to find yellow pages and goes ballistic~all off script. Also, the airport chase where Chance jumps on the "handrail part"...They got into some shit for that and were told strictly not to do that. Great movie.

Okay I can admit, there were some funny parts, but the jokes were just so bad in other parts, and squeak scolari is just shit in it. G-Fresh was the best character but a mile, dave was also pretty funny in a totally non gay way :p Stealing Harvard was a little better written, but perhaps not as funny. I only said it was ok.
But you have to keep in mind that I am a parker/stone fan and this was somewhat of a let down. Whereas I'm not as big a fan of Jason Lee, I think his funniest character was in mallrats but even there he was owned by Jay and silent bob and the chocolate handshake.

yeah, i feel that. the part where luke is fighting vader in the death star, and he's hiding under the stairs, and vader's looking for him, like "you have a sister...obi wan was wise to hide her from me", and then luke comes out all "NO!" and the music swells, and he knocks vader down and just starts wailing on him....that part always gives me chills for some reason, it's very well done.
episode 3 had some good moments. the montage of the jedi being killed was pretty goosebumpy, the music had a lot to do with it. it was way sadder and more emotional than i would have expected a new star wars to be.
contrast that with, say, any of natalie portman's scenes. ick. except for maybe the one at the end, where she's dead, and she's carrying the little trinket anakin made for her when he was 9. that was kind of neat, and she was dead, so she couldn't ruin it with her acting

Probably extras on the Shaun of the Dead dvd.
And speaking of Return of the Jedi, from Lando and Nien Nunb barely making it out of the exploding Death Star to the end credits, I for some strange reason feel really happy and good. Every time. Also, when Lando says "Yee-haw!", so do I. Every time. Kinda off-topic, but who cares?

it's demented, so if you have a weak stomach I totally would not recommend it. I saw it twice in the theater and bought the dvd the day it came out. I just watched it last night(again) as something to have on as I go to sleep. If you saw House of 1000 Corpses then you already know the characters, but this is an entirely different movie/vibe.

"I flunk English, I'm outta here. I gotta get a job, and you know what that means. That's right, they start me at the drive-up window and I gradually work my way up from shakes to burgers, and then one day my lucky break comes: the french fry guy dies and they offer me the job. But the day I'm supposed to start some men come by in a black Lincoln Continental and tell me I can make a quick 300 just for driving a van back from Mexico. When I get out of jail I'm 36 years old. Living in a flop house. No job. No home. No upward mobility. Very few teeth. And then one day they find me, face down in the gutter, clutching a bottle of paint thinner and why? Because you wouldn't help me in English."

Same. A very interesting and touching film, if I might say. It leaves me confused about Timothy though and whether or not he was crazy and was he doing the right thing. Also, I sometimes wonder (after someone mentioning the possibility) that he didn't die. Perhaps he faked his death so people would leave him alone. Recommended viewing.

Also, I sometimes wonder (after someone mentioning the possibility) that he didn't die. Perhaps he faked his death so people would leave him alone. Recommended viewing.
Even though his credibility was tested throughout and at times didn't seem to really even provide for a solid means to his end altogether very well, he stood his ground with some kind of a dignified and real human purpose without any backing whatsoever.. and took it to the wild open space in peace.. and that's.... in all respects, just raw. He seemed to want to test the world back by living a peaceful existence in bear country for God's sake. To him it was more civilized and sane there. You gotta be gutzy as all get out to do that, not to mention have been at your limit's end for some time and to no avail in a big way I suppose these days.. The 21st century is turning out a new level of disturbing human consciousness in the mainstream. Take San Fransisco for example and it's "gold plated sewers", or anywhere. Good old health per capita has turned on it's head like so many never knew... Stress levels are through the roof causing.. what was the fashion line in zoolander... and no man is impervious when it gets down to it.. Still, I wanted to take him aside and help simplify and square things away properly as much as possible.. create a more intregral prop, better health, and a progressively definitive and meaningful course... Anyway, even though it didn't seem like he had the proclivity, I've seen alot of guys go through it all including myself and a little military experience wouldn't have hurt in the long run perhaps. My experience encouraged me to further consumate an integral stance pertaining to the nature of it all... mine... and once up to "standard" in the constant overcoming of meathead mentalities and in house politics... I flowed and had it beat in real time all told... Though I was on the fast track it got me kicked out eventually.. The routine and teamwork was spot on too. After the fact I also ventured up to Alaska and had a bout after not being able to find an integral, good way in or out of any stream at the time... Though it in no uncertain terms counted for something bigger than much of today's measure in terms of prerogative and standard per the character and it's in no uncertain terms raw, fashioned, enduring and absolute definitive traits ( I gotta say), it didn't seem to have consumated much in secular terms perhaps.. but, it has and always will... But that's a whole 'nother story.. or is it. The bumble bee thing was a trip. I just wish he found a better, more whole and definitive mean to his end. Anyway, that's that.
House of Sand and Fog demonstrates shit perhaps along some of the same lines too. I have a bad tendancy of saying too much/ not enough on the fucking pc, but luckily I gotta go..
So one moral is in order to figure it outright one has to love and take responsibility of one's own nature and make it last in the best terms of nature as a whole...
Props to Sundance.

That story is based on real women who belong to this international sisterhood I belong to as well (not a college sorority). Cool, cool women. My chapter here in NY includes some powerful women.. I need to get back into that. Whenever I go to meetings I end up on committees, serving in offices and doing projects (I have a hard time saying no to these things) so I tend to opt out for long periods of time. I'm due to go back though, and I miss them.

It's not entertaining exactly, but it does keep you trying to figure out possible social solutions in a story that seems to inevitably only lead to a bitter end given the perameters. It doesn't give too much background story except for what occurs regarding the house... All about the stresses of space and time in terms of... a home.

The comedy is diminishing and the straight up/ forward meloncholly is all that's left these days in his movies. Which is fine by me. Bill Murray's good stuff. 2006 should be a good year for film.. I think.. hopefully! I know Ben Stiller's got something coming out.
