Okay, so this is kinda a long story right but bear with me because I assure you at the end of it you're gonna be all holy crap and whatever. So me and this dude I used to know run into eachother at the mall and I'm all hey, sup haven't seen you in a long ass time etc etc and he's all yeah man i know I've tried calling you a bunch a time but you're never home which is just a stupid way of saying whatever psssh and so I'm like, yeah , I know how that is man so how's what's his name? and he's like what's who's name? and I'm like what's his name. You know what's his name which is this guy we both used to refer to as what's his name because we really didn't actually know his name and the kid's sister was killed by some drunk driver who also happened to be a close friend of ours that went to school somewhere in the boondocks but used to come to town to hangout and whatnot because their wasn't much to do where he was at and his father kinda drove him crazy with this woman he was seeing cos see his parents were divorced and whatever but he couldn't stand the bitch. Anyhow, that guy knew the guy I was asking about too but obviously couldn't talk to him buecause he you know killed dudes sister albeit by accident and whatever but you know, killing a sibling is killing asibling so he knew dude would be a little pissed at him. So I wasn't asking about that guy but rather the dude who's sister got killed and he shoulda known who I was referring to because we used to refer to him as such for like 10 years unless this dude I ran into had some kinda memory disorder I didn't know about but I was more inclined to believe that he was just pretending to not know what I was talking about because he wants to act like he's all too important and famous to remember any of us small people now since he was an assisitant to George Clooney when he wa sfilming here and I'm like dude you were a gopher, you got the man his coffee, that doesn't mean that you're his friend or associate but I didn't actually say this to his face because it's not like I wanna crush his dreams of being some director but c'mon don't get ahead of yourself here man, you're still small time and pretty much dude's bitch. Come to think of it you're not even that because it's not like it was a fulltime job and you don't even do it anymore anyway. Does George Clooney call you up to see how you're doing or something? because I'm quite certain he doesn't and he probably doesn't even know who you are or what your name is anymore you're probably just a blur in his mind like you never eevn existed. But of course I never actually said this to his face ever like I said because I'm all for supporting him in his goalsnot that I really even talk to him anymore like I was saying because he pretty much abandoned all his friends as soon as he got this little gig with George Clooney which was like 10 years ago but that's neither here nor there so I'm like, loolk man, you know who what's his name is so stop pretending and he's like I don't know what you're talking about why don't you just back off already and I'm like No, dude, you need to get your head back out of the clouds and he's like what the hell does that mean? is that even how that saying or whatever goes and I'm like I'm pretty sure it is man and he's like you're F'ed in your brain man I don't even know you anymore. I don't even know you and I'm like why are you trying to turn this around on me? and he's like I don't know what you're talking about and I'm like look man, you're so far gone you don't even know what you're doing anymore and he's like I know I know....and I'm like, I'm trying to help you and he's like seriously I have no idea what you're talking about so I'm like Great, I'm back at square one and he's like looks like you are, man.

that is almost impossible to read

Unbelievable, huh? I wouldn't say impossible, though, because it did happen.

for a while, i thought Mickill's little contrived, Kerouac-style of run-on sentances was amusing (like Nuzz's attempts)...
but now it's just annoying.
just tell the story, man.
save the literary flare for the writers...

I couldn't peg what the style reminded me of but Q hit it right on the head. He's got this whole Kerouac thing going on with the run-on sentences and bringing up shit that has absolutley nothing to do with the point at hand.
That shit got real old with me. It took me forever to get through The Dharma Bums and I still haven't finished The Subterraneans. It just gets annoying.

I made up a long drawn-out story with no point, deliberate typos, juvenile grammar and poor sentence structure. I didn't think anyone would actually try to read it, let alone critique it.
Incidentally, I've never read any Kerouac. And from what I understand, Nuzzuré isn't a huge fan herself.
Just killing time.

i was a huge kerouac fan in 8th grade and i haven't really read anything by him since. i've been told i write a lot like him in the past. just saying.

you underestimate our own need to kill time...
and our incessant need to tediously dissect everything...

I was thinking, this should really be about 10 times longer to really drive the point home. But then I fiigured the 10 or whatever minutes I spent on it was sad enough.

I'll bet you still have nightmares about that time you were pinned down and teabagged for hours by various roadies backstage at that last Beasties show you went to, huh?
This is a joke, by the way. cj has never been teabagged. I just need to make sure that everybody understands this because he takes this kinda thing personally.

Reading that reminded me more of Vicky Pollard than Jack Kerouac.
