so, I got these long velvet gloves and cort was wearing them and holding a book, and I said, "hey, you look like chevy chase when he's in the attic looking at home movies". The next day she put them on again and I said, "holy shit, that's what you should be for halloween" and then we were yelling and it seems like a good idea, but I don't have a copy of that movie, so I need to see what he's wearing exactly to help her make the costume.

a friend of mine wants to go as the cast of Cheers...she said I should be Diane, but I don't look anything like shelly long and she didn't really have a distinctive dress style other than 80's dressy preppy. *sigh*

Cort is doing fine, she works at PBS now for a show called Image Union that shows short films. and she writes the little blurbs like, "coming up next, chris isaacs woos you with his sultry sounds..." or something. Everytime we watch PBS, I say, "did you make that? did you write that part?" about things that she obviously didn't write, like episodes of "Coupling". she loves it!

ah ha! I was pretty sure he had a fur cape on. I just happened to have picked a faux one up recently at a thrift store. excellent. I'm not sure where to get a turban, maybe like a beauty supply place or something. I remember it was maybe like one of those head covers meant to go over curlers.

I'm going to a rocky horror party thing, and I'm scared. Other than that I don't know what to dress up as either. Something easy and cheap, yes, but I have no ideas. I'm not sure I'm going to dress up in a costume. Wearing fishnets and pushup bra and all the hair and makeup that Rocky Horror thing requires might be costume enough this year. If not, I'll try to be Hedwig.
