Only if you're well aware of British culture and stuff, as they mostly poke fun at that and their guests. I can't tell where you're from.

Depends. I can see Americans liking it. Personally, although I like Sanjeev Bhaskar and the rest of them, I found the humour predictable and a bit uninspired. In that respect it is just like every other American sitcom...

BUT, it is nice to have celebs interviewed out of the usual brown-nosing tour-promoting setting, even if it is only the slightest bit.

It's worth seeing for Meera Syal. Fair enough, this isn't her best gig but that woman is brilliant, no doubt.

Is that the grandma? She's a funny character on there.

I think the whole indian culture should be at least vaguely known to you in order to make that show amusing.

Yeah she is, and I agree. I'm a big fan of 'Goodness Gracious Me', too.

Not such a big fan of my sister, who lost the third series DVD. Rats.

I loved the two mothers who were constantly bragging about their sons. They start at money, jobs etc and end up bragging about how well endowed they are :D

Also the indan family that pretended not to be indian and acted all posh.

Great series that!

i've seen it (as an american) and i liked it, but i got the feeling that i'd have liked it more if i knew what it was supposed to be making fun of

It's one of those shows that has some really great, golden moments, but overall isn't entirely reliable. Some episodes have loads of laughs, and then others are a bit dull.

To sum up: a bit hit or miss.

My favourite character is the dad.
