MF Doom has to be one of the best lyricists around that I know of, but as for Danger Doom, the lyrics are cool, he just doesnt deliver them right. Well he delivers them fine, it's just that he just lacks energy like in his previous albums. Danger Mouse's beats are good (not much of DM fan, but he's good at times), it's just that Doom cant doesnt have the same energy as the beats. He's wayyy too monotonous in this album.
I perfer his other work like his album Operation Doomsday, MMM...Food, Madvillain, his other complilation work with Madlib, or Viktor Vaughn's (one of the many MF DOOM alter egos), Vaudeville Villain.

I like his lazy flow, I think it's always interesting to hear how new beats work around/with it. I mean, he's not gonna rap like Milk does.

"Danger Doom" is a truly cool album. Doubly cool for someone like myself who watches alot of Adult Swim. This album made me a fan of MF Doom and Danger Mouse at the same time. The Cameo's from Ghostface Killah, Cee-Lo, and Talib Kweli are all great too.
Dope record. (y)
