It seems to me that all albums are not represented here and from my understanding all albums will have atleast one shirt rereleased.

New stuff, but still the same outrageous shipping prices.

Seriously what's up with that?

Why does it cost $9 to ship a damn shirt? $6 to ship stickers?

I think those are some of the most reasonable shipping prices I've seen online (and for the record I have nothing to do with the store operations)...

Keep in mind that there's a world outside the USA and those people buy stuff from the store too. They can get their shirt shipped to them for the same price as someone within the USA under this arrangement (rather than US$15 shipping on a US$20 shirt like most online stores would otherwise charge them). In addition to this cross-subsidising, there are expenses in shipping beyond the shipping charges from USPS etc. which is also obviously built into the price.

I think I may asked this before...but why not charge the actual shipping fees?

If you live close to where it's shipping than you luck out. If you live across the globe then it costs you a little more.

For a band, that's akin to just doing a US tour and telling the international fans to make their own way there - and if it costs them a little more, well that's their problem. Clearly that doesn't happen...

Sure it happens...the Beasties didn't play every city in the US or every country. So if the band doesn't come to your city or country, then you have to make the choice on whether or not spend the money to travel and see them.

I understand what you're saying...but do a lot of places average the costs like they do in our store?

I mean, if I choose to buy something from Europe, Asia, or Australia I fully expect to pay more for shipping. That's just the nature of the shipping beast. :)

But it is nice that Horovitz personally delivers the items...that's true customer service and I'm willing to pay a little more for that. :D

It's the nature of the goods in this case, being that of those specific to a band. Other bands have a similar arrangement in place.

I don't have time to argue my (correct) point of view unfortunately, so that's all I'll say.

no need to argue about this really. it all comes down to everyone's personal view and opinion on it. some may think it's unfair cause they happen to live a mile away from the warehouse, and some might think it's great cause they live in spain or brazil. this is the way it's going down here on beastieboys.com, and at least it gives us all an equal value for the items. and if you do live in the us and think it sucks, at least you have the advantage to go to a nearby store and pick up other beastie boys items (with no shipping at all!), since the distrubution of beastie boys goods within north america is bigger than any other part of the world.
