CROWN ROYAL got pushed back so many times it was ridiculous. If you listen to the finished product, you know why. But, I remember when CROWN ROYAL 1st started getting promoted, it listed some of the guest appearances & it mentioned Beastie Boys. Maybe the promoters were just trying to be slick, knew Ad-Rock was only going to just produce a track, but they figured we'll just put the name Beastie Boys because it would attract more attention. As far as I'm concerned, the last Run-D.M.C. album was DOWN WITH THE KING. And DOWN WITH THE KING saved them because I didn't really like BACK FROM HELL except for a few tracks.
