i dont get it. ever since i switched to adsl2, everytime i bring up a page on explorer half of the pics and graphics are replaced with a clear box with a red x in it, as if it didnt load properly. and its happening more often. for example as im typing this the little box to the right with all the smilies in it are all empty boxes, cant see 1 single smiley. wtf is going on?? its pissing me right off.

ok. firefox has replaced IE. things have improved, but lots of things still arent being shown, instead of a box with a red x in it now its a little picture with a big tear thru it. im assuming IE wasnt the problem then. i delete all cookies every couple of days, and run spybot every week to clean things up, so what the fuck?? i want a new computer. this thing shits me to tears.

In Firefox - Edit - Preferences - Web Features - under the load images, is the box ticked? If not tick it. Also check your exceptions that allow images. Cus I block porn images and I get that.

I know you've probably checked it but ya never know.

yeah i wish i got adsl2 thru adam, they've probably got the best deals, and most if not all exchanges have been upgraded to adsl2+ already. i went with iinet, only because if i opt out of 2 yr contract i only pay $99, whereas with adam u have to pay out the whole contract. im still waiting for my dslam to be installed in my exchange, it keeps getting delayed :( im running at 1500kbps, after the dslam goes in ill be anywhere upto 12000kbps :)

also what i have noticed with firefox is that pages load a fair bit slower with firefox than with IE. anyone else notice this?

Firefox has always been faster for me. I think I'd cum if I was getting a 12000kbps connection.
