omg, he's a man (not a boy) this time! 31 years old. he wears hats. he looks sort of like giovani ribisi, except taller. cort has a crush on a 31 year old too. we share a brain.
he came to a party at my house a couple weeks ago and we chatted for a bit. then I saw him at a party last night and he remembered me and said, "hey you had a great party" and I said, "hey, thanks man", then I pretended to chug a bottle of whiskey. a bit later, I yelled his name repeatedly and told him to put the empty bottle up high where I couldn't reach and he did, and didn't mind the yelling (which is good, BECAUSE I LIKE TO YELL!).
when the party was clearing out, I was hitting people on the head with a cricket bat and he stopped to talk to me. he said, "I heard you had an art show, I didn't know you made art, I would've liked to go". then we were talking about a bunch of crap like detroit and going out west to spend time in the desert, etc. etc. then he had to go, he said, "it was great to see you, I'll probably see you soon at another party or something". and I was like, "uhh, okay, bye"
so, I guess I just have to wait. maybe I should've given him my number...I was thinking he would ask. I dunno. this finally seems like a reasonable situation. I usually chase after people that are unavailable or unattainable in various ways, but this time it's kind of like *click*.
did you hear that sound?
