She's 22. And it's possible to have grey hairs as early as 17 (premature grey, but grey nonetheless).

It's just one, but eh. I was hoping that since my grandmother didn't get her first grey until sixty that I wouldn't get mine until I'm at least close to that age. Meh, grey at 23. Not cool. At least it's towards the front though. Maybe I'll get those really cool Emmylou Harris streaks. I think it's Emmylou that has 'em, right?

Ooh, I ain't plucking it. I was planning on dying my hair back to it's original brown, but I think I'm just gonna stay blonde now. At least with light hair it'll be easier to hide the grey.

My mate had a FULL receeding hairline and REALLY thin hair at 17. His hair colour now is weird. Its like brown/grey but not grey. Its real weird.

My cousin was bold by about 22 - ha.

Just dye it. I found a grey hair at about 20 and not had another one since... But I do dye it a lot so I dunno how I would tell cus my original hair colour hardly ever shows...

I started getting greys at about 22.

the good news is I'm 28 now and I've got a few more but they haven't taken over completely. I dye my hair though I find grey shows through darker colors faster than lighter ( I have dark brown almost black hair naturally) I've found the best way to "cover" em is to get ashy blonde highlights.--but highlights can be expensive if you want em done right and are harder to maintain.

My mother didn't even start to get greys until her late 40's and even now she's hardly grey. Thanks mom. thanks alot for passing grey resistant gene to me. She says that I must have gotten the same gene her cousins did. All her cousins male and female were completely white haired by the age of 20, and all the womens dyed thier hair black because of it.

THANK you! I also hate it when they actually give credit to who sang it, and point out what the song title was, right after their cliched Beastie quote. It's like, uh, yeah, we're all on their official board, I think we all know where it's from, thanks. :rolleyes:


Anyways, my friend's 22 and she has a few grays. It's from her stress level at work. Pluck them and relax more during the day and they'll go away.

my friend has a few white hairs but that's all (i tease her about it all the time) :p
