View Full Version : sometimes i cant remember if something was a dream or not
the other dream thread reminded me about this, so i'm making another dream thread (sorry TAL). sometimes i'll think about a memory that i have, but then i can't remember whether or not it came from a dream or something real. it doesn't happen over horribly important stuff yet, but it's more like, maybe someone said something to me that either offended me or flattered me, and i'll see them later and i'll think of them with that memory in mind, but i can't remember if they actually did it or not, at least not right away. after a little while i'll be able to figure it out, but it's happening more and more often and the memories in question are getting more and more significant. at this rate, i figure in about 20 years or so i'll be full-blown crazy.
anyone else do this? maybe i'm not really making this thread. maybe i'm just dreaming it. tomorrow i'll wake up and i'll say "man, i can't wait to see the responses to my thread" but it won't be there.

holy fucking shit bob.
and sometimes i get frustrated since i can never really know for sure if it was a dream or real life, so i stop thinking about whatever it was. theres no use to keep trying to figure it out sometimes, its neverending. i usually cant remember which one it was when it happens. i sometimes like it when it does happen though, it makes uninteresting things like the curb or the flower next to me seem surreal since i seem to be in another dimension for a few minutes

a few times in the past few weeks, i have had these strange nights where i just sort of day dream all night, and i wake up around 7am no matter when i went to sleep and i feel exausted because i didn't get a solid nights rest.
but all these day dreams melt together with real life and i can never remember exactly what i was dreaming about because i think it might have been something that i actually did, since usually it's something that i would normally do like have a conversation with someone

my fucking god jabumbo, yes! the imagining situations and conversations, going back on them and confused whether you imagined them or they really happened. it happens to me more than with the dreams actually, i do quite alot of imagining.
beautiful, beautiful

the most embarassing thing is when you're telling other people about this great thing that happened and then you realize you weren't actually flying, you were dreaming that, and you have to reroute the conversation completely

I sometimes get this. "hmm was that a dream or did that really happen".
