I went canoeing today

It was a good day for it, sunny with a moderate breeze. Glad I had a wetsuit on cos I got fucking soaked....but it was good times.

No, not really. I've been windsurfing at the same place in the middle of summer and the water has been colder than it was today. But it's unusually warm here at the moment, I can't remember ever going out in November with just a t-shirt and jeans before.

No, but I did see dolpins, seals and mantees :)

But that was on the Discovery channel before I went out :(

it's like that here, too. it feels like spring. i felt like a douchebag today, i was walking around in a heavy coat, because i couldn't tell by looking outside how warm it was going to be. i assumed it was going to be cold this morning, because you know, it's november

Um, haven't got any pics (sorry). Yes I went by myself (although my friend runs the sports centre there), it was one of those canoes you sit on rather than in (hence the wetsuit) and I went out for a few hours...I'm not really very fit at the moment and as I'm waiting for a knee operation I thought I'd do something that would get me into the fresh air and exercise my upper body.

There were loads of birds around though, it was pretty cool

Thanks, I may make this a regular thing....especially when I have days off in the week and my girlfriend is at work (damn shiftwork). I mainly went to see if it was fun, and because I want to get a decent canoe to go on the sea with)
