In an extraordinary sign of the depth of political acrimony here, Democratic leaders employed a rarely invoked rule today to place the entire Senate in closed session for more than two hours, saying that the Republican majority had reneged on a promise to thoroughly investigate flawed intelligence used to justify the Iraq war. now that's nice to see.....
it'd be great if this spread to the public at large (the nead for accountability, and the forcing of Republicans to do so).

actually, shutting down the senate and the house are good things,
if they arent working, then they arent passing idiotic laws, tax increases, regulations, and other govt interference into our lives
