People, in general, worry too much about trying to uphold the certain "image" that they are perceived as being by others. Like, some people are seen as being the smart intellectual people, so all their comments are well thought out and researched...useing complex wording. Some people are perceived as being total smart-asses...so, of course, every comment they make has to be sarcastic and calling people out on their insecurities. Etc...
That's the way they are preceived, and it typically is a strong aspect of their personality to begin with, so it's almost as if they feel the need to be that way all the time. People care too much about what other people perceive them as being...speaking in general terms, not just talking about this board. I think that's why a lot of times, this board, gets to be very predictable. It's almost as if everyone serves a certain role.
