I like his old stuff.
I heard a little of his new CD on NPR. I won't be rushing out to buy it. It sounds like he's got all these hip artists of today doing a track with him -- a la Sinatra's duets, Santana's recent stuff, and it sounds like Earth, Wind and Fire is doing something similar too.

Herbie Hancock just put out something like that, too. I know jazz musicians often do well with legitimate collaborations, but these days this sort of thing is the Marketing Ploy of Artistic Limping.

I'm a big Stevie fan, got most of his albums. All the 70's ones are classics. I'm afraid to buy the new one after reading the song titles though.
