Also, just as an aside, what do those on the Left here on this board THINK about the Chinese government and people as a whole, anyways? Is this the future of "Communism?" What about the Tibetans? Are they Chinese now? Any commentary on Tianmen Square? Their antipathy towards the Japanese? Their role in the North Korean government? Arms trafficking by the Chinese?

My junior year in high school I did an oral report on the situation in Tibet in my World History class. I mentioned the Tibetan Freedom Concerts and a friend of mine who knew how much I liked the Beasties started laughing. She was in the front row right in front of the podium so I couldn't NOT notice and I started laughing too. I wound up getting a B+. I would have gotten an A, but I only had four sources of information instead of the minimum five that we were supposed to have. That and I couldn't stop giggling.
