I can think of a number of instances where the goals of the US and Israel haven't coincided, but they're always pretty insignificant compared to the shit that the US supports or lets Israel get away with, and that's the case here.

Are you anti-Jewish?
I really do ask this as a reasonable question because your implication is that because "big jews hat [sic] own corporation in the usa" the US is somehow beholden to helping Israel.
Also, out of curiosity, why was it that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton supported Palestinian aspirations to their own country and Arafat rejected 98% of what he had always said he wanted?
Finally, what is your impression of the wall the Israelis are building to enclose "Palestine" and the Gaza Strip? What do you think of the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza? At what point are the Palestinians responsible for their own destiny/future and can stop blaming Israel for all their woes? What is your take on the President of Iran's comments to the effect that Israel should be wiped from the map?

"Are you anti-Jewish?"
no not at all.But there is a fact that Jews own a lot of corporation in the usa,a lot of media, magazine and bank
The Rotchild(rich business man in the uk)where the first to open big bank in the usa.thoses are the one who loan money for world war 1 and 2.theire where enormous profit at the expend of millions of lives(their own blood too)
"Also, out of curiosity, why was it that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton supported Palestinian aspirations to their own country and Arafat rejected 98% of what he had always said he wanted?"
i believe this is relevant to the fact that yasser arafat was on the side of irak during the golf war!

i think that look like they are making a concentration camp!
their are withdrawing from the gaza strip because they have to give palestine a little bit of land, still at some place their building that wall 6 km inside the palestinian territory. If you look at old map of palestine, their territory was way bigger, before its was a palestinian state, after the second world war,Jews invade palestine. All the jews from europe where send their to have their holly land.doing that they take out a property that was not their .
for the iran president and isnasty comment about that israel just dissapear
i believe there is something to do to the fact that usa and israel are allies, and usa are on the case of iran with they suppose war program
anyway enlighten me on the subject
Poor "Palistine." The only ones that have given them any land and a place for their homes is the Jews. Their Arab neighbors sure as phk haven't given them a pot to piss in. It would be a crack up to go into that area of the world and give all the land back to any "tribes" that lost it in wars throughout history
We'd be just as barbaric as the Middle East if we hadn't seperated church and state and become a democrcy over 200 years ago. Could you imagine if our schools taught our children to hate islam/east, enforced biblical law (Old testiment), and we were ruled my King's, Princes., amd dictators. We didn't become civilized ovenight. They won't either. (it would be impossible)
The only thing they have going for them over there is their women don't talk back, cheat on their husbands (they stone them to death if they do!), or compete with men for jobs.
If we didn't have strong ties/relations with Isreal they would have already
wiped their neighbors/enemies of the face of the planet. (or maybe only half of them which would have taught the other half to leave them alone) Alls they have to do is push a few buttons. The targets are already programmed into the guidance systems. A FEW MINUTES later, no more suicide bombings and jews wouldn't have to carry an uzi when they went to the supermarket.
On a final note, suicide bombers are promised "70 virgins and rivers of wine" in the afterlife. Pretty strange motivators for a religion that preaches no pre-maritial sex or drunkeness don't you think? Those poor kids over there are really in trouble if thinkng about commiting a "sin" is a sinful as commiting one!!!

I have a couple of questions about the whole 70 virgins thing.
If this were true, what happens after you have had sex with all 70 women, do get another 70? Or maybe you are stuck with the ones you already have. And how can one man please 70 women (not just physically) when so many have a hard enough time pleasing one? Are these women assumed to be physically attractive or will there be some kind of ratio of good looking and ugly?
Just curious.
These are the types of questions these people should be asking before pulling the trigger.
That is, if they truely believe that nonsense.

It is a pretty absurd belief, isn't it. I mean, what reason does anyone have to believe that there are 70 or 72 virgins waiting for them in some magical place in the sky? Sure, an old book says that that's the case, but you can't trust everything you read, can you? And numerous people may claim to have had personal experiences which verify the accuracy of that book, but what about the many more people who claim to have had similarly implausible experiences which verify other, often contradictory books and beliefs?
Yes, it's rather silly to have such illogical faith.

To be honest, I'm not sure I would want virgins. Couldn't I trade those in for some with experience.
But I guess you would have eternity to train them.

It takes just as much faith to NOT believe as it does TO believe.
That's the point.
Just as you think those who believe and have faith have to deny the existence of so much "evidence" that you can muster, those who deny ANYTHING they can't see, touch, taste, hear, or feel also have a ton of faith in their lack of faith.
If I'm losing you, I'll elucidate further, if you'd like....

Galations 2:19-21
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Return fire:
Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian
10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.
9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.
7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!
6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.
5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.
4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."
3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.
2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.
1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.INCOMING!!!

The page expired, but it talked about the US support for a Palestinian state despite it probably not being in Israel's best long-term interests.
BTW, I really like Sharon's ideas as far as walling them off (terrorism has dropped exponentially since the barrier went up in the Gaza strip) and creating a de facto Palestinian state WITHOUT the "right" of return.

Next time, try not to take verses out of context.
James 2:20-26
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
No everlasting life for you, gentile!

I doubt many Palestinians share your enthusiasm for this barrier, but, hey, they're all Muslim terrorists, aren't they? What rights do they have?
Probably true, yet the history in that region has been one of rarely unmitigated enmity between those who "believe" in their "Holy Land."
The Muslims believe that Jerusalem, especially, is nearly as holy as Mecca or Medina (it's probably third in line for their holy sites), as do the Jews, believing that God led them (back) to the land of milk and honey and allowed Jacob to lead the Jews there while destroying the residents at the time (read the stories of Jericho, etc.).
Christians, of course, believe the lands that encompass Israel and the Palestinian areas are holy because Jesus lived, taught, died, and ascended to Heaven there.
When you have such profound, deep-rooted beliefs, it's well-nigh impossible to hear out the other side's claims.
I suppose, if you want to get REALLY technical about it, the "Holy Land" belongs to whichever human first crossed that area while trekking out of Africa. Or, alternatively, we could go back through history and "return" all lands to their original owners, which would mean probably turning over the entire Earth to some Ethipoian tribe and let them run it all.....

Empathy for the Palestinians is all good, but they'll still have their "homeland" and contiguous geography with Jordan, where they (mostly) originally came from.
Of course, the "Jordanians" (which, BTW, is a made-up country as much as Iraq is,....but I digress) kicked the Palestinians out because Arafat made such a nuisance of himself back in the late 60's and early 70's that Hussein decided it was in his own best interests to deport the Palestinians out of Jordan.....

Or, alternatively, we could go back through history and "return" all lands to their original owners, which would mean probably turning over the entire Earth to some Ethipoian tribe and let them run it all.....
they would probably do a better job!

yeah ok
No, but not full of hate. How can Israel stop, they are defending themselves, for them to stop would mean the end of existance of Israel.Have they ever tried to stop?
Are the Palestinians REALLY able to end the existance (sic) of Israel?
Isn't this a bit of an exaggeration? Would the world sit back and watch Israel get wiped out? Is this what you truly believe?
I really don't want to argue with you about whether or not Israel has the right or the need to defend herself. She does. There are politically-motivated agents in Palestine who do want to kill and terrorise Israelis, I accept this and I accept how hard it must be for Israelis not to retaliate... but each time the IDF retaliates, the leaders of Hamas and the Hizbollah and any and all other extremist groups in Palestine and elsewhere get more people coming to them, asking to be given the chance to go out and kill Israelis.
Violence begets violence. I hear that Hamas are trying to stand for elections in Palestine and that they might even beat Fatah... they won't be able to ignore any more ceasefires then, not and be taken seriously, at any rate.
Let's also not forget that Hamas, like the ANC, started off as a peaceful religious movement. They only took up arms because they were ignored.
If Israel takes the initiative and does not retaliate to the next Palestinian attack, and the next, then surely the Militants will run out of reasons to attack Israel and will find it harder to recruit new members?
Surely?
Israel could also do something about that fucking wall, too. It's causing far more harm than good.
Let's take it a step further. If Israel actually tried to help her neighbour to start up its economy, then wouldn't there be even fewer recruits for the Jihadists?
Of course, it'll NEVER happen. Israel will go on defending itself (http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Security/7104.htm) and young, dispossesed, devout people will continue to apply to join the militants, ad infinitum.

this is one reason why us support israel!
"Over 57 years have elapsed since the usurpation of Palestine by Zionist migrants from Europe who call the occupied land Israel. During these years the Palestinian people have been subjected to war, bloodshed, terror, homelessness and deprivation more than any other nation. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been martyred and maimed while millions of others have been homeless by the Zionists. At the same time, the Zionists have intensified efforts for destroying al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Bait ol-Moqaddas considered by Muslims as the first Qibla. The Zionists have committed all these crimes against humanity with US support.
Why does the US support the Zionist regime? The answers are obvious because its Jewish citizens who despite accounting for a mere 2 percent of the American population draft US policy. In fact, the Zionist Americans control all US. They have control of most of the important media and have access to unlimited financial sources. The most important and influential group in the US is the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee known as AIPAC. This group was set up in 1951 and was not so active till the 1970s. But over the past two decades AIPAC has become strong and controls the US Administration. AIPAC’s budget stands at 35 million dollars and its central bureau is located beside the US congress in Washington. This Zionist outfit on is even exempted from paying taxes and enjoys special facilities. AIPAC mainly reflects the viewpoints of Israel’s Likud party led by the Zionist prime minister Ariel Sharon. It is because of the influence of AIPAC that the US Administration does not permit any criticism of the crimes of the Zionist regime. Most of the US mass media is under the censorship and supervision of AIPAC, and the news reports are carefully prepared to depict Palestinians as violent and terrorists and the Israelis as the sufferers. AIPAC censors all news of Israeli atrocities so that the American public remains ignorant of the realities of Palestine.
AIPAC members have control over US congressmen and senators. It arranges visit to Israel for every newly elected congressman who is subsequently brainwashed by the Zionist entity. AIPAC maintains files on every congressman concerning his background and whether or not he has ever voiced anything in favour of Palestinians and against the Israelis. When an American congressman is deemed detrimental to the interests of the Zionist entity, his or her re-election is prevented by AIPAC.
US congressmen under pressure from AIPAC support even the most glaring crimes of the Zionist entity. For instance, while many countries and international bodies including the Hague tribunal condemned the construction of the barrier wall to divide the areas of Palestine occupied by the Zionists in 1948 from the areas it occupied in 1967, the US congress supported this illegal measure. Professor John Cool of the Department of History at Michigan University says in this relation: As regards the Arab-Israeli conflict, AIPAC and its allies have managed to enforce a complete censorship over the Congress. None of the senators and congressmen dare deliver a speech against the policies of Israel even in cases the Zionist regime violates international laws and the UN Security Council resolutions.
The role of AIPAC in the US presidential election is quite clear.
The role is so important that the presidential candidates prior to the election are forced to repeatedly announce their complete loyalty to the Zionist regime. During the last US presidential elections, John Kerry and George Bush danced to the tune of the Jewish lobby in order to gain the maximum votes. AIPAC has a powerful influence inside the White House itself. It is in league with the Neo-Conservatives ruling the US. The ties between AIPAC and the Christian Zionists who play a major role in the US government are very close and friendly. However, despite its wide influence in all departments of the US Administration, AIPAC does not hesitate to spy for the Zionist regime in the US.
In June 2003, an ex-employee of the US defense department passed on to Israel many classified documents. This secret information was mainly related to the Islamic Republic of Iran. AIPAC pressures US officials to tighten measures against Iran and to attempt to change the Islamic system of government in Tehran."
