although this isnt the first time rumors of him coming back are made i do believe its the first time he, himself has talked about it.
"I’ve been boxing since I was seven years of age,I simply needed a break. I’ve got two beautiful sons and a wife, and wanted to spend some time with them. Now, though, I’ve had my break. I miss boxing and I believe boxing misses me, too. In the New Year you could witness something special." - Prince Naseem Hamed

he was a good boxer....but nothing warranting a comeback.
cash it in, dude.
Hamed isn't shit compared to Ricky Hatton.
Although the Prince is a cocky little bastard....I would rarely miss his fights.
Since we're on the topic of boxing. Anyone know where I can find a list of fights that happened in the past. I'm trying to find the greatest bout I have ever seen that happened between 1995 - 2000 on november 7th. I think it was on HBO.

the only thing hatton has on hamed is that hatton has one quality victory whereas hamed didnt really have any.

I was kind of disappointed when I found out this thread wasn't going to be about Richard Simmons.

Jamie Foxx is trying to get the lead in the upcoming Tyson biopic, I hear. That should suck.
Naz is gonna ruin his own legacy if he tries to fight again.

Boxing has sucked ever since I got past Soda Popinski.
what fight?
Thats the problem...i can't remember who was fighting or it would be easier to track down. im pretty sure it was in 1997 or 1998 It also could have been on Showtime. But i'm leaning more towards HBO. It was an undercard between to latinos and it was the fight of all fights.

marco antonio barrera vs. erik morales(first fight) was in 2000 and incredible with both of them kicking each other's ass. but it wasnt an undercard. sorry
