More Beastie Boys needs to be played on the radio. It would make the world a better place, my sick-of-crappy-radio world anyway.

To tell you honestly, I am very satisfied that there is not much Beastie Boy music on regular rotation on my local radio station's playlist. I rather slip in a cd or break out my vast collection of live mp3's.

I guess this is the reason that I very rarely listen to the radio. That and we don't have any radio stations around here worth listening to.

It isn't a bad thing until a song catches on and it is ran into the ground from too much air and video play. I hated Sublime when "What I got" came out UNTIL I had a chance to listen to the rest of the album. Now Sublime is one of my favorite bands. Too bad Bradly has left us with so much good music left to be made.

I know this isn't about Sublime, but I was just using them as an example. I do get what you say though.

Besides, I think the internet has made it possible for people to find out just who this great band known as the Beastie Boys are.

then they shouldn't play it too much...

and hopefully they won't turn into another "sublime" :D

i heard Brass Monkey on a radio station today. it's an all rock station, and the people who work there have like 0% rap tollerance except for when it comes to the Beastie Boys

A lot of Rap/Hip Hop fans are like that with the Beasties.

I noticed that! Like my friend hates rap wit a passion but she loves their cd LTI, I guess maybe the guitar? But she listens to stuff like AFI and Him or something.
