RATM's music is waaaaaay better than Audioslave... but i think both are great. It be nice if RATM would reunite and tour with the bboys.

i just couldn't ever get into them. i always thought Rage and Soundgarden were overrated anyway so i wasn't spooging myself when Audioslave came around...and i never saw why there was so much hype around them. i think they're barely listenable and half the people i know shit themselves over them.

when I first heard rage hooked up with Soundgarden I thought this is gonna be the best band in years. How wrong was I?
It still mystifies me how bad they are!

I dig both Rage and Soundgarden, but I can't say the same about Audioslave.
Though I do admit that track "Doesn't Remind Me" is pretty sweet and reminds me of classic Soundgarden.

I was never a big RATM or Soundgarden fan, although I respect their music and talent. I just.....never found many people around my town who were big into either band. Audioslave seems to be overhyped, although I must admit some of their songs are catchy.

Yeah, it all just seems like some sort of exercise in excess, a made for alternative radio wetdream.

"Down On The Upside"? I've been leary towards that one, if only because it was their only album to emerge after the death of Kurt Cobain.
I have "Superunknown", "Louder Than Love" and "Badmotorfinger." I hope I can find "Ultramega OK" (I hear it's MC5-ish)...

Have you seen them live? It’s amazing show – say what you want about Cornell but he can wail and Tom Morrello’s guitar work is genius. I saw A LOT of shows this year and this was in my top five.
I would recommend another listen…

How so? I thought it was supposed to be their weakest album? Explain.
