Here's an interesting example. (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/07/politics/07air.html)

Personally, I've never understood why so many of those who claim to believe so strongly in God and the Bible are willing to treat the Earth as if they were drunken rock stars in an overpriced hotel room, so it's nice to see that those who actually interpret the concept of 'stewardship' as meaning one has an obligation to take responsible care of and protect it are starting to speak up a little louder.

I saw a program on the BBC24 yesterday about some states starting their won koyoto type agreement.

There are some cool technologies coming out to create energy from renewable sources. When I get my store, part of my plan is to run it as a renewable as possible. I want it as a show case of what can be done away from fossil fuels. I spend a lot of my time researching some of this amazing technology. Some call it a waste of time and an excuse to surf on the t'web all day. I've got some crazy cool ideas in my opinion (not saying what). Just need to find a place for the store first and then some people willing to invest in my ideas...

Republicans began the National Parks System (Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt) and TRUE conservatives are environmentalists who believe in utilizing land for the greater good.

Christians, and peoples of ALL religions, should be pro-environment without the implicit need for governmental intervention that most Green believers see as necessary to ensure their visions.
