ok, so i need one more semester of co-op emplyment to get the credits for it. i realistically don;t need to do it to graduate, but it would mean one less class i have to take, and the money would put me at a level where i could pay for the rest of school without any problems...
so on that note...should i take this job, or hold off and see if another place comes around?
pros: -the job offer is on the table, and so i could end the search now
-they would keep me busy, and what i do there would be a decent start for any entry level position
cons: -pay is at the bottom of the co-op range
-the company doesnt do any of the more specific types of work that i am most interested in
-i would have to drive though downtown and more heavy traffic areas to get there
For me, the worst part of job hunting is just that - job hunting. If you have an offer where you can gain experience and get paid and don't have to go out searching, then that sounds good to me. If this job doesn't have everything you need for your future career, but will allow you network and possibly meet future employers, then I would say it sounds great to me.
jerk.
ignore back on.

^ i think thats the only real reason why i still might accept this offer
there is actually a place that i think i would enjoy more, and i interviewed with them over the summer. well they ended up not being able to hire till january, so i think i need to contact them, but i'm not sure how i should go about doing so
ignore off.
you do just that. contact them and remind them that you had interviewed, are still interested in the position and would still like to be considered when they do hire.
on again.

You say it's one semester and ok money for entry level? So I would take it, stop the hunting because that's a drag, put my my head down and get on with it. One semester, that's nuthin.

well...while waiting to hear back from both another prospective employer and the woman at the co-op office with some advice, i got a call today saying the position was filled by someone else.
so i guess its on the search again....
i guess i don't really ind right now, unless of course i end up with nothing, which would be shit, but i'm allright until that happens
