I told all of my friends about it the next day and how great it was. I went out and got that CD the very next day. I still play it from time to time.

There isn't all that much music* in this video - I just thought it was weird/funny/classic........and a way to show others one of my favorite shows on TV, Mystery Science Theater 3000!!! On the air for TEN years! The hosts DO bring up a lot of music-related jokes and comments though.

Where MST3K is concerned, you either "get it" or you don't. In the movie versions there is an average of eight hundred jokes so they are easy to watch over and over. "Space Mutiny" (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8590533394044637016&q=%22Best+Brains+Inc.%22) is one of their classic movies they make fun of - or technically speaking, they "riff" on it. Cheap sets, crappy acting, horrible script, ripping off of other & better movies i.e. MST3K's favorite type of show to riff on.

* Beastie general would be a better place for this but subjects that aren't extremely popular get buried really fast.
