i didn't know who he was until the managers were whispering and i heard that name.

i didn't get any proof of it (credit card or i.d. or anything, he paid with cash), but he was dressed really nicely and carried himself in a way that i've only ever seen celebrities carry themselves. i'm almost positive it was him.

anyway, he bought a libido-enhancing formula and flushable tushie wipes, among other things.

he was pretty nice. kind of swaggering, though, with a little bit of bravado. it's a celebrity thing. so many of them just...carry themselves that way. it's this sly, smug, i'm-famous-and-these-people-probably-know-it walk. but he really was a nice guy.

Anyone watch that celebrity fat club show on VH-1? That dude Harvey (I think he was a Marine) came into my woman's store to buy some video games. He comes across as an asshole on the TV show but she said he was really really nice. And he smelled nice too.

Mario Van Peebles is an arrogant prick. I remember seeing him about fifteen years ago walking through the Bloomingdale's builing on north Michigan Ave. It was around Christmastime because I remember all the lights and the big ass tree they put up every year. Anyway, he was walking with a beautiful woman and they were coming towards us (me and a friend) and I said "Hey Mario, how's it going?"

And he walked right past us. Didn't even acknowledge that he'd been spoked to. After that my friend and I proceeded to follow far behind him for the next five or ten minutes and heckle his acting ability or lack of. Security didn't seem to find us too amusing.
