i'm not entirely sure if this is a correct figure.

That doesn't sound right. If that were the case...that averages to over 10X Platinum for each of 6 albums.

but yeah anyway i've always assumed it was maybe a slight exaggeration.

ha it's just US...i would have to say that LTI has gone 10X platinum by now, that site's album sales numbers haven't changed since i looked a year back so i don't think that category is very up to date
