View Full Version : I Scored a SGH Poster

It's about 12x18 and double-sided, with the old school photo on the front and the tracklist on the back.

Today I went to the independent record store where I buy all my stuff, including most concert tickets. I was buying both the DVD and the vinyl so the sweetheart behind the desk knew I was a freak and he offered me one of the posters they're supposed to hang in the store. It's silly, but it made me happy all afternoon. :)

Yeah the person behind the counter gave it to him. Thats weird ? But awsome.

Yo cj, they are talking about the SGH poster and not the AIFST poster.

I know what you mean about making you happy all day after scoring that poster. Any free Beastie Boy merchandise always makes me happy.

either way, i think it's a raw deal to have to print out your own poster...

Especially since they never encouraged burning your own SGH.

I never saw it as a raw deal. Actually I took it to be...Hey guys, here's a freebie, print one out if you want it.

What kinda sucks though is that it costs a lot of money to get one "poster-quality" poster printed out at a Kinko's-type place. I think when the film gets closer to being released that there will be posters available.
