I'm still convinced that someone had an idea to make a soundtrack of rock/rap collabs and then thought - hey we gotta make a film and rushed out that pile of shite that no one can remember but years on - the soundtrack is still a fave - my fave is teenage fanclub v de la soul

Cmon man the blues brothers is top film and the soundtrack is like a character in it - its part of the film. God i sound like a right pretentious twat but hey, it wont be the first or last time.
That movie rules.
The version of jailhouse rock is fuckin brilliant
Drederick Tatum

that Blues Brothers soundtrack is pretty patchy. while it does have moments of boner inducing awesomeness - Shake Your Tailfeather, Old Landmark - the rest of the album is merely ok.
