(y) can't imagine life without it.
There are many, many varieties of green tea. Some are very delicately flavoured and subtle; others are quite a bit more stringent. I suggest dropping into a good health food store, have a chat with someone there and maybe try 2 or 3 different types, to get an idea of what you like.

Green Tea is becoming more and more popular. Masala Chai seems to be the best selling one I stock. It's supposed to be good. I don't drink it enough though.
Make sure it is fairtrade and organic though, to ensure it's quality and ethical status! I'd recommend Equal Exchange. They are by far my favourite brand, for tea and coffee!
And as a shameless plug, if anyone wants any information or prices on it, email me adam@gethical.com or PM me. Worldwide postage! :p
SPAM you idiot!

Hmmm. I was all prepared to dispute this, because I am a) innately suspicious of beverages owned by Coca Cola and b) because it seemed logical to me that buying premade, processed teas would neccessarily have a much lower antioxidant content as a result of processing, and therefore be of negligible/considerably reduced benefit.
But, in an effort to make sure I wasn't talking out of my arse without knowing the facts, I decided to poke around and do a little research, and found this article. (http://www.prevention.com/article/0,5778,s1-3-71-217-1779-1,00.html) To my pleasant surprise, the researchers for this article concluded:
In fact, most homemade iced tea (hot-brewed and fridge teas) did have more antioxidants than most convenience teas. So if you want the very max, make your own.
But we also discovered that some convenience iced teas still retained spectacular antioxidant levels. Beating even Concord grape juice, the all-time antioxidant superstar among fruits and vegetables, were Nestea Liquid Concentrate Iced Tea (green tea with honey), Honest Tea Moroccan Mint (bottled green tea), and Lipton Iced Tea (bottled, sweetened, without lemon). Lipton Cold Brew tea bags even outscored the fruit that's highest in antioxidants: blueberries.
So, kudos to Nestea for putting out a quality product, then (y)

I don't generally either, and I did try to find out the ingredient content of said product, but couldn't find this information.
Personally, it's not like I'm about to go buy any of the bottled stuff - I don't really see how it's that much of a convenience; after all, it's not like boiling water and pouring into a mug is a lot of work - but now I know that if I was on the go and saw this in a corner shop, I'd know it wasn't completely crap.

Not really. I've mostly cut out coffee - I used to have a cup or two pretty much every day, now I just have one weak-ish one on weekend mornings. I never really much drank black tea other than the occasional cup, so it's not been a problem avoiding that. And green tea, I usually have one cup in the morning when I get into the office, and then maybe some days one in the afternoon as well. Most of the time I drink peppermint or lemongrass tea, though.

I like green tea. Especially that stuff that comes in the jug and is sweetened with Splenda. I think it's Lipton's.
Although my mom bought this really good Cinnamon Apple tea I'm currently hooked on. I haven't drank tea in like 5 years.

I drank green tea for years, hated the taste but thought it was good for me. Turns out I was drinking a vegetarian's diarrhea.

apparently drinking cold water raises your metabolic rate. so does exercising. i prefer to do both those than drink green tea.
